Party in Pai

After returning from the Lisu village on our bikes, we ran into this man named Rama. He told us of a gallery party for some local artists that was taking place that night just outside of Pai. There would be a band, food, drinks and local artisans. It sounded really neat so we decided to head there after we had dinner and chilled out for the rest of the afternoon.

At around 7:30, we began to walk to area Rama had told us it would be, it took around an hour to walk (average/slow pace) and we followed the primal beating of drums and occational bursts of flame through the trees until we arrived at the right spot....

It was a great time with phenominal music and fire dancers. When the fire dancers calmed down, I decided to jump up and dance too as it was hard not to with such rhythm and soul bouncing off the small stage and into the trees surrounding. It was a lot of fun!!
*one down side was a weird guy that seemed to follow us where ever we went in Chiang Mai, desparate to start something, showed up at the party - that was a little creepy and we tried to not let him spoil our evening.
