Next I hopped on a train to Pak Chong where I jumped on a PMV to greenleaf guesthouse just outside Khao Yai NP. I really wanted to explore one of the last Thai parks that still has wild asian elephants. I hired a guide for the following day, to help me find and view some of the critters that inhabit the mountains here.
