These were our amazing team of Nationals. They are hired by the company as helpers to carry the food supplies and bivies and also many of them are personal carriers that clients will hire to porter a pack with them. But these guys aren't just helpers, they are friends.

It's amazing the bonds you form with each of these dedicated team members. They are always not far away, if you need a helping hand, encouragement or some incredibly beautiful haunting songs that they often times will belt out from their diaphrams while we hike in our snaking single file form. It makes you so happy inside to hear these songs, it takes your thoughts away from that heel that's rubbing or the lactic acid build up, or the hunger you have for a big hunk of chocolate.
