Crossing the Brown river


This was a fun bit of the track. We needed to cross the Brown River and the bridge that once had existed was washed away with a flash flood so everyone had to jump in the water up to our chests and hold onto a strung rope as the really strong currents grabbed at your curves to pull you down stream.
Actually it was really fun, I enjoyed this bit of water, it was invigorating and a refreshing change of pace.
The boys here are setting up a line of people to pass the packs along to the other side of the river before any of us ventured across.
