On the first day Bev and I also went to this beautiful lake said to have been created by a meteor a few thousand years ago, hence the perfectly round shape. We walked all the way around the whole lake. Butterflies flitted all around us as the bamboo forests clacked together in the warm breath of air that blew every now and again. The shadows of the trees and bamboo provided protection from the scorching afternoon sun. It was peaceful.
