One of the most amazing things about Cambodia is their endearing children. They are sweet, friendly, polite and inquisitive. They love to say "Hello, Hello Barang (foreigner)", unlike in Canada where it is drilled into us as children, never to talk to strangers, here they are encouraged to talk to strangers, to better their English, to meet new travellers and just learn. It's so different. So loving, as everyone takes care of the little ones and watches out for them, raising children is a community event and everyone participates.
