Sunsetting on Jayavarman the 7th at Bayon

Sunsetting on Jayavarman the 7th at Bayon

This was one of the last temples I saw before meeting up with Susanna. This is the Bayon temple complex. The smiling faces on all the structures can be seen from every angle. It was a way to keep an eye on the population, in a karmic grand scale. The faces were created to resemble the face of Jayavarman the 7th who was quite a good king but a little egocentric (as you can see)
